Teriyaki Chicken Tacos

Ingredients

2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
¼ cup + 1 teaspoon Kikkoman® Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce, divided
1 tablespoon Kikkoman® Sesame Oil
½ tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
3 slices of fresh pineapple
Avocado spray for cooking
2 tablespoons cilantro, minced
2 tablespoons red onion, minced
4 yellow corn tortillas

Directions

  1. Thinly slice the chicken breasts.
  2. Place the chicken into a bowl, with the ¼ cup teriyaki, sesame oil, garlic powder and paprika.
  3. Mix the chicken with the marinade, cover and allow to marinate for 15 minutes in the refrigerator before cooking.
  4. While you wait for the chicken to marinate, cut up the pineapple and mince the cilantro and red onion.
  5. Using an indoor grill on medium-high heat coated with avocado spray, place the chicken slices one by one to allow for the perfect char. Cook the chicken for 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. When it’s almost done, spread more teriyaki sauce over the chicken for added flavor (optional).
  7. Remove chicken from the grill.
  8. Coat your pineapple slices with 1 teaspoon teriyaki and place them on the grill for 1-2 minutes, or until grill lines form, on each side.
  9. Remove the pineapple from the grill and cut it up into chunks.
  10. Assemble your tacos as you prefer and enjoy!
