Ingredients
1 pound ground chicken
1 cup butternut squash, cubed
1 cup sweet potato, diced
1 can (15 oz) white beans, drained
1 onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 red apple, diced
½ cup Kikkoman® Teriyaki Baste & Glaze
2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
1 can (15 oz) crushed tomatoes
1 cup chicken bone broth
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon cinnamon
Salt and pepper to taste
For Serving:
Greek yogurt, optional
Green onion, optional
Sharp cheddar, optional
Directions
- Add all ingredients into slow cooker and stir until well-combined
- Cook on high for 4 hours or 6-8 hours on low until root vegetables become soft and chicken is cooked through
- Taste and adjust as needed, adding more teriyaki for richer flavor
- Serve with toppings of your choosing, such as Greek yogurt, green onions, and cheddar cheese
