An authentic Japanese classic made effortless. This quick-prep Shoyu Ramen pairs chewy, perfectly al dente dry ramen noodles with a deeply savory, umami-rich Kikkoman Ramen soup base. Designed for maximum flavor with minimal effort, it is the ideal go-to solution for busy weeknight dinners or quick single-portion cravings.

Ingredients

  • 1 bundle dry Japanese ramen noodles

  • 1 quart water (for boiling noodles)

  • 1 cup water (for soup base)

  • 2 Tbsp. Kikkoman Shoyu Ramen Soup Base

Directions

  1. Bring 1 quart of water to a boil in a medium pot.
  2. Add 1 bundle of dry ramen noodles and cook for 3 to 3.5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until al dente.
  3. Drain the noodles, quickly rinse with warm water, drain well again, and divide into warmed serving bowls.
  4. Bring 1 cup of water to a boil in a covered saucepan, then remove from heat.
  5. Stir 2 Tbsp of Kikkoman Shoyu Ramen Soup Base into the hot water until dissolved.
  6. Pour the soup immediately over the noodles and serve hot.
