Teriyaki Roasted Green Beans with Sesame Crunch

Fresh roasted green beans tossed in a savory-sweet less sodium teriyaki glaze and finished with toasted sesame crunch for a colorful, globally inspired vegetable side.

Ingredients

• 8 pounds 2 ounces Beans, green, fresh, whole, trimmed
• ¼ cup Oil, neutral
• 1 cup Kikkoman Gluten Free Panko Breadcrumbs
• ½ cup Seeds, sesame, black and white
• 1 Tbsp Oil, sesame
• 1 ½ cups Kikkoman Low Sodium Teriyaki Glaze

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. Toss trimmed green beans with oil until evenly coated.
  3. Spread in a single layer onto sprayed sheet pan. May take multiple pans.
  4. Roast for 10–14 minutes, rotating pans halfway through. Cook until beans are bright green, light blistering appears, and remain tender-crisp.

    1. CCP: Heat vegetables for hot holding to ≥135°F. 

    2. CCP: Hold hot uncovered at ≥135°F during service.

  5. Mix breadcrumbs, sesame seeds, and oil.
  6. Toast at 350°F for 4–6 minutes, stirring once until lightly golden. Reserve separately.
  7. Toss green beans with Teriyaki glaze right before service.
  8. Garnish with sesame crunch.
