Preheat oven to 250°F. Melt butter in a small saucepan and cook over medium heat until the butter turns a golden brown, swirling occasionally. Remove from heat and carefully add the rest of the butter ingredients, whisking to combine. In a roasting pan, combine all of the snack mixture ingredients, minus the almonds. Pour the butter mixture over the snack mixture and stir well. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and cool completely, stirring occasionally while the snack mix cools.Add almonds to snack mix.
