Salmon Meuniere

kikkoman products used:

ingredients

2 salmon fillets
⅕ teaspoon salt
Pepper, to taste
Flour, for coating
½ tablespoon olive oil
½ tablespoon butter
½ lemon, for garnishing

For Soy Butter Sauce:
2 teaspoons Kikkoman® Soy Sauce
2 teaspoons Kikkoman® Kotteri Mirin
1 tablespoon butter
2 teaspoons lemon juice, squeezed   

directions

  1. Rinse and dry salmon. Salt and pepper and leave for 5 mins. Dry once again, cover in flour and shake off excess.
  2. Heat up oil in pan, add and melt butter. Fry salmon over medium-low heat. When it begins to become golden, flip and fry other side. Remove and place on plate.
  3. Clean pan and pour in soy butter sauce ingredients. After it starts to boil, pour over salmon. Garnish with pan-grilled lemon.
