- Combine apples, onions, sugar, raisins, teriyaki sauce, vinegar and ginger in Dutch oven or large saucepan; bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- Uncover; continue cooking until thickened, about 15 minutes.
- Refrigerate in covered container at least 1 day to allow flavors to blend.
- Pack in sterilized jars and store in refrigerator. If desired, wrap for gift giving.
