ingredients

400 g can diced tomatoes
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1 Tablespoon honey
1 Tablespoon Kikkoman® Soy Sauce
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon Kikkoman® Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce
4 eggs
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 yellow onion sliced
1 red or yellow bell pepper sliced in thin strips
1 handful of fresh cilantro, chopped

directions

Oil pan and fry onion on medium heat until translucent (about 5 minutes). Add bell pepper, cumin, and coriander and let cook for 10 minutes on low heat.

Stir in tomatoes, garlic, honey, cilantro, paprika, soy sauce, and sriracha. Cook on low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Make four small wells in the sauce and crack an egg in each spot. Let cook on low uncovered for 5 minutes and then covered for 5 more minutes.

Serve with fresh cilantro and either crusty bread or naan so that you can scoop up the deliciousness!

THE STORY OF SOY SAUCE

Even people who love soy sauce and use it all the time are often surprised to learn what it is and how it’s made. We make ours from just four simple ingredients—water, soybeans, wheat, and salt. Those ingredients are transformed through a traditional brewing process—much like making wine or beer—that has remained unchanged for centuries.
