Ingredients

½ pouch (4 tbsp) Kikkoman® Karaage

1 teaspoon Baking Powder

¼ teaspoon Black Pepper

¼ teaspoon Salt

1 ¼ lb Chicken Wings (mix of approximately 5 chicken flats and 5 drumettes)

Cooking spray

½ cup of Kikkoman® Sweet Chili Sauce

Garnishes (optional):

Sprinkle of Sesame Seeds

Handful of Chives, chopped

Directions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, stir together Kikkoman® Karaage coating mix, baking powder, black pepper, and salt. Set aside.
  3. Place chicken wings on a plate and pat dry using a paper towel. Spray with a light coating of cooking spray. Using tongs, transfer chicken to the karaage mix bowl and toss.
  4. Remove wings from the bowl and place in the air fryer, making sure to spread them evenly apart. Cook for 10 minutes, then flip.  Finish cooking for another 5 minutes until the wing center reaches 165°F and the outside is golden and crispy.
  5. Pour the Kikkoman® Sweet Chili Sauce into a large bowl. Remove cooked wings from the airfryer using tongs and toss in sauce. Remove wings from bowl and place back in the air fryer. Cook for 2-4 minutes until the sauce has created a glaze on the wings.
  6. Remove wings from the air fryer and place on a wire rack. Allow to cool for 5 minutes.
  7. Transfer wings to a serving platter. For extra saucy wings, serve alongside additional Kikkoman® Sweet Chili Sauce for dipping

Optional: Garnish with sesame seeds and chives.
