Shrimp Skewers

Ingredients

1 pound tiger shrimp, deveined with shells off and tails on
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon white pepper
1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon chili flakes
1½ + 1½ tablespoons Kikkoman® Teriyaki Baste & Glaze, divided

Assorted Sliced Fruit + Veggies for Skewers (optional)​

Pineapple
Red and yellow pepper
Green and yellow summer squash
Spring onion
Red onion 
Lemon
Green leaf lettuce

For Serving
Rice
Lemon

Directions

  1. Season your shrimp with salt and pepper, garlic and chili flakes and let marinate while you chop the rest of your ingredients.
  2. Cut your veggies and fruit into manageable thin sized pieces and get ready to start skewering.
  3. Build your skewers to your preference and then add half your teriyaki and brush on both sides of the skewers. Flip and repeat on the other side.
  4. Get your grill grate very hot, spray with some oil, and begin searing your shrimp and veggie skewers.
  5. Cook 2-3 min per side on high heat, remove and serve on a platter with rice and a fresh squeeze of charred lemon.
