ingredients

4 chicken breasts (thin)
1 + 1 tablespoons olive oil, divided
1 cup Kikkoman® Teriyaki Takumi, Original
8 pieces of bacon

Pineapple Salsa
¼ cup diced pineapples
¼ cup diced tomatoes
2 tablespoons red onion, diced
2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
2 tablespoons jalapeño, diced
1 small lime, juiced
Salt to taste

 

directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F​.
  2. Place chicken breasts on baking sheet and rub with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.​
  3. Generously glaze chicken with Kikkoman® Teriyaki Takumi, Original. ​
  4. Wrap each chicken breast with two pieces of bacon.​
  5. Place chicken in a baking dish and brush with more Kikkoman® Teriyaki Takumi, Original until bacon is coated with sauce. ​
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.​
  7. Uncover dish and broil for 5 minutes to crisp bacon. ​
  8. Mix diced pineapples, diced tomatoes, red onions, chopped cilantro, diced jalapeños, lime juice, 1 tablespoon of olive oil and a pinch of salt in a bowl. ​
  9. Top chicken with pineapple salsa and serve!
