ingredients

8 thin bone-in pork chops
½ cup Kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce
1 tablespoon black pepper
¼ cup vegetable oil
2 cups cabbage
¼ cup jicama, chopped
½ cup green bell pepper, sliced
1 carrot, shredded
1 cup Kikkoman Roasted Sesame Sauce

directions

Marinate the pork chops in Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce for at least 2 hours in a sealable plastic bag.  Remove the cops from the marinade and sprinkle with black pepper.  Add vegetable oil to a large skillet over medium heat.  Add the pork chops in batches and brown on both sides, then set aside.  Make the sesame slaw by combining cabbage, jicama, bell pepper, carrots and Roasted Sesame Sauce.  Serve the slaw with the pork chops.

THE STORY OF SOY SAUCE

Even people who love soy sauce and use it all the time are often surprised to learn what it is and how it’s made. We make ours from just four simple ingredients—water, soybeans, wheat, and salt. Those ingredients are transformed through a traditional brewing process—much like making wine or beer—that has remained unchanged for centuries.
