Ingredients

Inari Sushi
1 tablespoon Kikkoman® Rice Vinegar
½ teaspoon sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup cooked sushi rice
Fried tofu pocket
Black sesame seeds, for decoration
Corn, for decoration

Teriyaki Hotdogs
Mini hotdogs
2 tablespoons Kikkoman® Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce
Black sesame seeds, for decoration

Bento Box (Optional):
Seaweed salad
Rolled omelet or boiled eggs
Cucumbers
Carrots
Green onion

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Microwave for 10 seconds, or until sugar dissolves when stirred. Mix with cooked sushi rice and adjust seasonings to taste.
  2. Stuff tofu pockets with seasoned sushi rice. Optional: To decorate inari sushi into ducks, ad black sesame seeds for the eyes and corn for the beaks.
  3. Cut 4 vertical slits into each mini hotdog, about halfway up. Boil for 2-3 minutes, or until slits begin to peel away from the base and form tentacles.
  4. Add teriyaki sauce to a pan with hotdogs. Cook on medium heat for 2-4 minutes, or until teriyaki thickens and evenly coats hot dogs.
  5. Assemble bento box with inari sushi, teriyaki hot dogs, and anything you’d like such as seaweed salad, rolled omelet, cucumbers, carrots, and green onion.
