Brown Sugar and Soy Boba Tea

Ingredients

⅓ cup boba pearls
½ cup strong black tea, brewed 
⅓ cup packed brown sugar 
1 tablespoon Kikkoman® Soy Sauce  

For Serving
Milk
Ice 

Directions

  1. Boil boba pearls according to package directions until just slightly undercooked, about 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.  
  2. Heat tea, brown sugar and soy sauce over medium-low heat in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes. Reduce heat to low and stir in cooked boba pearls. Simmer for 3 minutes longer.  
  3. Pour syrup mixture into a jar and refrigerate for 30 minutes to chill.  
  4. Add desired amount of boba pearls and syrup to a glass and top with ice. Add desired amount and type of milk and enjoy.
