Easy Kung Pao Chicken

1 Tbsp cornstarch

1 Tbsp Kikkoman® Gluten-Free Soy Sauce or Gluten-Free Tamari Soy Sauce

3/4 lb. boneless, skinless chicken, cut into 3/4 inch cubes

2 Tbsp vegetable Oil

1/2 onion, chunked

1 small green bell pepper, cut in 1-inch squares

1 small red bell pepper, cut in 1-inch squares

3/4 cup Kikkoman® Gluten-Free Kung Pao Sauce

1/3 cup roasted peanuts (optional)

Directions

Directions:

  1. Combine cornstarch and soy sauce; stir in chicken. Let stand 15 minutes.  
  2. Heat oil in hot wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.  Add chicken and stir-fry 2 minutes. 
  3. Add onion; stir-fry 1 minute.  Add bell peppers; stir-fry 2 minutes longer, or until chicken is cooked.
  4. Reduce heat to low; pour in kung pao sauce. Cook and stir until sauce is heated through. 
  5. Transfer to serving plate and sprinkle peanuts on top, if desired.
