Gluten-Free Asian Lettuce Wraps​

Ingredients

1 tablespoon avocado oil
1 pound of ground chicken
6–8 ounces button or baby bella mushrooms, finely minced
1 8-ounce can water chestnuts, drained and minced
2 green onions, sliced
2 teaspoons fresh ginger, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
¼ cup of Kikkoman® Umami Joy Sauce™
¼-½ teaspoon Kikkoman® Sesame Oil
Lettuce cups

Directions

  1. Heat a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add oil and chicken and cook until fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes.
  2. Add mushrooms, water chestnuts, and green onions. Cook 3-5 minutes, or until veggies are softened.
  3. Add ginger, garlic, and Umami Joy Sauce™ and sesame oil. Cook 1 minute longer, stirring to coat chicken mixture.
  4. Add additional Umami Joy Sauce™ as desired.
  5. Plate the mixture onto lettuce cups and enjoy!
