Honey & Pineapple Glazed Korean Fried Chicken

Ingredients

6 cups canola oil​
¼ cup cornstarch​
½ cup frying mix​
¾ cup water​
1 pound chicken wings​
¼ teaspoon salt​
¼ teaspoon garlic powder​
¼ cup Kikkoman® Teriyaki BBQ & Glaze Honey & Pineapple Sauce​
Scallion, for garnish

Directions

  1. Preheat 6 cups of frying oil in a large pot to 350°F.​
  2. Add cornstarch, frying mix, and water to a large mixing bowl and mix well​.
  3. Toss one pound of chicken wings into a mixing bowl​.
  4. Season chicken with salt and garlic powder. ​
  5. Toss seasoned chicken wings into the batter mix and mix well with hands.​
  6. Fry wings in oil for 8-10 mins then remove the wings and let rest for 5-10 minutes. ​
  7. Fry the wings for a second time for 4-5 minutes. ​
  8. Toss the wings in a mixing bowl, add teriyaki sauce and mix well.​
  9. Garnish with scallion and enjoy!
