Ingredients
18 ounce pork belly
1 piece onion
½ piece scallion
1 piece ginger
1 tablespoon of Kikkoman®Sesame Oil
2 pieces soft-boiled eggs
(A):
1 piece grated garlic
1 piece grated ginger
1 ⅓ cup of water
3.5 ounce sugar
6 ½ tablespoons of Kikkoman®Japanese Cooking Sake
6 ½ tablespoons of Kikkoman®Kotteri Mirin
6 ½ tablespoons of Kikkoman®Soy sauce
3 tablespoons of Kikkoman®Teriyaki Takumi, Garlic & Green Onion
Directions
- Pierce the pork belly on both sides with a fork several times.
- Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat and sear the pork for about 3 minutes on each side.
- Add the sauteed pork, onion, scallion, and thinly sliced ginger to rice cooker
- Add【A】to the rice cooker pot and cook using the regular rice cooking mode.
- After cooking, turn over the pork belly and onion, then let it sit for 1 hour.
