One Pan Cheeseburger Casserole

Ingredients

1 pound 90% lean ground beef
1 cup green bell pepper, chopped
½ cup yellow onion, chopped
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon black pepper
4 ounces tomato sauce
1 tablespoon mustard
3 tablespoons Kikkoman® Less Sodium Soy Sauce
2 cups beef stock
8 ounces elbow macaroni
⅔ cup whole milk
2 cups cheddar cheese, freshly grated

For Serving
1 tablespoon parsley, chopped

Directions

  1. Heat ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Use a spatula to break up beef into crumbles. Cook for 4 minutes. Add bell pepper, onion, smoked paprika, garlic and black pepper. Cook for 5 minutes longer, stirring frequently.
  2. Stir in tomato sauce, mustard, soy sauce and beef stock. Bring to a boil and add macaroni. Cook for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until macaroni is just tender.
  3. Stir in milk and cheddar cheese. Cook 3 minutes longer until cheese is melted.
  4. Serve hot garnished with fresh parsley.
