Ponzu Scallop Pasta

Serves 2-3

Ingredients

1 pound scallops​
½ teaspoon salt​
½ teaspoon pepper​
1 + 1 tablespoons Kikkoman® Ponzu, divided​
½ pound fettuccini ​
5 tablespoons butter​
2 green onions, diced (save some for serving)​
1 teaspoon lemon juice​

For Serving
Parmesan​
Lemon zest

Directions

  1. ​Pat scallops dry and season both sides with salt, pepper and Ponzu. Set in fridge until needed.​
  2. Cook pasta per instructions in salted water. Drain pasta and set some of the pasta water aside.​
  3. In a large pan on medium-high heat, add butter. Once butter has almost fully melted, add in scallops. ​
  4. Cook scallops for 2 minutes on each side. Remove from pan. ​
  5. In the same pan, add cooked pasta, scallops, green onions, lemon juice and Ponzu. Mix thoroughly until all pasta is coated.​
  6. Plate, top it off with more green onions, a little parmesan, lemon zest and enjoy!
