About
Saucy Citrus Butter Halibut is a light yet flavorful dish. The fish is flaky, tender, and packed with bright citrus flavor. The sauce for the halibut is simple yet elegant and perfect for any occasion. Pan-seared halibut is finished with a buttery, garlicky sauce made with Kikkoman® Orange Sauce and fresh lemon juice, creating the perfect balance of richness and freshness. With minimal ingredients and just a few steps, this dish comes together in under 20 minutes. If you're looking for a go-to sauce for halibut, this citrusy butter glaze enhances the fish without overpowering its delicate flavor. If you want an easy, low-carb seafood option, this recipe delivers big on taste with little effort. Serve it with steamed vegetables, a simple salad, or over a bed of rice to soak up all that delicious sauce. Tips and Tricks- For the best sear, make sure your skillet is fully heated before adding the halibut—this creates a beautifully golden crust.
- If you prefer a baked version, try putting the halibut in the oven at 375°F for about 12-15 minutes, then finishing with the sauce.
- Want extra richness? Whisk in a splash of heavy cream to turn this into a cream sauce.
- Serve with roasted asparagus or cauliflower rice for a low-carb meal that keeps things light and fresh.

4 halibut filets, thawed
½ teaspoon salt

⅓ cup Kikkoman® Orange Sauce
