Shrimp Pad Thai Lime Soup

Serves 1

Ingredients

¼ onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon ginger
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
Kikkoman® Pad Thai Noodle Kit with Sauce
4 cups of vegetable broth
2 limes

For Serving
Green onions, to taste
Cilantro, to taste
Crushed red pepper flakes or Kikkoman® Sriracha Hot Chili

Directions

  1. In a large pot, sauté onion, garlic and ginger in oil of choice.
  2. Add shrimp and half a lime to the pot and cook for 4 minutes on each side.
  3. Add Noodle Kit sauce packet to the pot, stir to coat shrimp.
  4. After a couple of minutes, add in the vegetable broth and noodles.
  5. Squeeze a whole lime in the pot and cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Serve and top with a squeeze of lime, chopped cilantro, green onions and red pepper flakes or sriracha as desired.
