About

These wings are loud in the best way. Sweet honey, punchy pineapple, and smoky grill char come together for seriously sticky chicken wings that demand extra napkins. Think honey-pineapple grilled chicken meets backyard cookout energy: bold, caramelized, and just a little messy. Tips & Tricks
  • Let them caramelize. Don’t flip too early. That char-grilled chicken flavor comes from letting the sugars in the honey pineapple sauce develop a deep color.
  • Sauce in layers. Brush during the last few minutes of grilling to build that glossy, sticky chicken wings finish without burning.
  • Finish with heat. A quick squeeze of lime or pinch of chili flakes balances the sweetness and keeps these pineapple chicken wings from leaning too dessert-y.

Ingredients

3 pounds chicken wings, thawed if frozen
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup Kikkoman® Teriyaki BBQ & Glaze Honey & Pineapple, for brushing
Jalapeños, thinly sliced, for serving

Directions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high, about 400°F. Pat wings dry. Toss with oil and salt.
  2. Grill wings 18–22 minutes, turning every 4–5 minutes, until cooked through and lightly charred.
  3. During the last 5 minutes of grilling, brush wings generously with the honey pineapple sauce to create a sticky coating.
  4. Remove from grill. Brush with extra sauce while hot. Top with thinly sliced jalapeño and serve immediately.
