Yuzu Miso Crab Cake

Ingredients

1 cup + 3 cups Kikkoman® Panko Bread Crumbs, divided​
1 egg​
1 yuzu zest (sub lemon if not available) ​
¼ cup chopped green onion​
2 tablespoons Saikyo Miso​
1teaspoon hondashi ​
2 tablespoons Japanese mayonnaise​
1 pound crab meat​
Nori flakes (optional)​
Bonito flakes (optional)​

Directions

  1. Combine 1 cup panko, egg, yuzu zest, green onion, Saikyo miso, hondashi, mayonnaise, and crab meat.
  2. Form 6 to 8 2-inch cakes and coat using the rest of the panko. 
  3. Shallow fry cakes at medium-low heat for 3-4 min on each side. 
  4. Sprinkle nori and bonito flakes overtop for garnish.
