About
This super-versatile recipe for Soy Sauce Noodles is a quick and easy way to satisfy your noodle cravings any time. It’s as simple as tossing boiled lo mein noodles with sauteed garlic and a sauce made with Kikkoman® Soy Sauce, Sesame Oil, sugar, lemon juice, and black pepper. They’re delicious as is, and you can add your choice of protein or vegetables to turn them into a complete meal.Tips & Tricks
- Add your protein of choice—like shrimp, tofu, sliced or diced chicken, or thinly sliced steak—by sautéing it until cooked through along with the garlic before adding the noodles and sauce to the wok.
- You can use other sweeteners in place of the sugar, including agave nectar, honey, or Stevia.
- Want to add more veggies? Cut baby bok choy, shiitake mushrooms, snow peas, snap peas, or zucchini into bite-sized pieces and sauté along with the garlic before adding the noodles and sauce.
- You can make Soy Sauce Noodles with fresh or dried Asian noodles, including ramen, somen or chow mein. You can also use spaghetti, angel hair, or linguine.
- If you like spicy noodles, add 1 to 2 teaspoons Kikkoman® Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce to the sauce mixture.
