What is Kotteri Mirin?

Kikkoman® Kotteri Mirin is a sweet cooking seasoning that adds authentic Japanese flavor, mild sweetness, and glaze to a variety of grilled, broiled, baked and sautéed foods.

Unlike traditional mirin rice wine, which carries a higher alcohol content, Kotteri Mirin is a mirin-style seasoning containing less than 1% alcohol by volume. It gives teriyaki and sukiyaki the full-flavored sweetness for which they’re known. Use Kotteri Mirin in place of sugar or honey or add a small amount as the “secret ingredient” to your main dish recipes.
