Cuban Refried Black Beans

kikkoman products used:

ingredients

5 cups chopped onions
2/3 cup vegetable oil
2/3 cup canned diced jalapeños
¼ cup ground cumin
¼ cup garlic purée
10 (15-ounce) cans black beans, drained, liquid reserved
1 1/3 cups Kikkoman Lime Ponzu Citrus Seasoned Dressing & Sauce

directions

Sauté onions in oil until soft. Add jalapeño, cumin and garlic and cook 1 minute more. Add beans and ponzu and cook over low heat, mashing with a potato masher until mixture is a rough purée. Stir in a few tablespoons reserved bean liquid if mixture is too dry.
