Sesame Seared Tuna

ingredients

Marinated Tuna:
2 cups orange juice
1 cup Kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce
1 cup Kikkoman Less Sodium Soy Sauce
12 limes, juiced
4 teaspoons chopped ginger
4 teaspoons chopped garlic
12 tuna fillets (8-10 ounces each)

vegetable oil, as needed
toasted sesame seeds, as needed
12 ounces pickled ginger
12 lemon wedges
watercress or parsley sprigs, as needed

directions

To make Marinated Tuna:Mix orange juice, teriyaki marinade & sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, ginger and garlic. Marinate tuna for 15 minutes before cooking.

For each serving to order: Heat oil in large skillet over high heat. Coat tuna fillet in toasted sesame seeds and sear on both sides 2 to 3 minutes. Meanwhile reduce some reserved marinade to a thin glaze consistency. Plate fillet with 1 ounce pink pickled ginger and accompany with a ramekin of reduced sauce, a lemon wedge and watercress or parsley.
