Tips & Tricks
- This recipe works with almost any frozen dumpling variety.
- Swap shrimp with chicken, tofu, or another favorite protein.
- Prep all vegetables before cooking since this stir fry comes together quickly.
- Swap bok choy and tomatoes with snap peas, mushrooms, or cabbage, depending on what you have on hand.
Ingredients
For the Dumplings
- 1 Tbsp Neutral Oil
- 12 ounces Frozen Dumplings, approx. 1 bag
For the Shrimp
- 1 Tbsp Neutral Oil
- 12 oz Shrimp, thawed, peeled, deveined, and patted dry
For the Vegetables
- 1 Tbsp Neutral Oil
- 4 cups Baby Bok Choy, quartered
- 2 cups Cherry Tomatoes, halved
- 2 Garlic Cloves, thinly sliced
- 1 Tbsp Ginger Paste
- 2 Scallions, thinly sliced with whites and greens separated
- ¼ cup Kikkoman® Gluten Free & Less Sodium Teriyaki Marinade & Stir-fry Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Kikkoman® Rice Vinegar Brewed from Sticky Rice
- 1 Tbsp Chili Crisp (optional)
Directions
- Heat 1 Tbsp oil in a large skillet on medium-high heat. Add dumplings in a single layer and cook for 3 minutes. Add 2 Tbsp water and immediately cover with a lid. Let steam 2-3 minutes, or until liquid has cooked off and dumplings are cooked through and crisp brown on the bottom. Transfer dumplings to a bowl and set aside.
- Heat 1 Tbsp oil in the same pan. Add shrimp and cook until just pink, about 2 minutes per side. Transfer to bowl with dumplings.
- Heat last 1 Tbsp oil in the same pan. Add the bok choy, tomatoes, garlic, ginger, and scallion whites. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring, until bok choy and tomatoes have softened, 6-7 minutes.
- Return dumplings and shrimp to the pan with the vegetables, along with the teriyaki sauce and vinegar. Toss everything to combine. Garnish with scallion greens and chili crisp, if using.
