ingredients

5 cups Kikkoman Kara-Áge Soy-Ginger Seasoned Coating Mix
6 tablespoons five-spice powder
6 cups egg whites
24 bone-in chicken thighs

directions

Mix kara-áge and five-spice powder. Dip chicken in egg whites, then in kara-áge mixture. Repeat dipping steps. Place on a foil-lined baking sheet. Spray chicken with cooking spray; bake in 400°F oven about 30 minutes or until crusty and cooked through.

 

A flavorful alternative to ordinary baked chicken. Serve with steamed rice.
