Kikkoman® Panko is made fresh from specially baked, crustless bread with a light, airy texture. With an oblong shape, our Panko bread crumbs are larger, flakier and lighter than regular bread crumbs. Their texture allows them to retain less oil and coat without “packing” like other bread crumbs do, so they stay crispier longer and don’t get greasy or soggy when they’re reheated.

They’re the ideal choice for baked or fried foods and the ultimate crumb for air frying! And because they’re unseasoned and have a mild, delicate flavor, they’re also perfect for sweet recipes and baking. Give Kikkoman® Panko a try, and see—and taste—the crispy, crunchy difference. You’ll never go back to ordinary bread crumbs again!

How to Use Kikkoman® Panko Bread Crumbs

  • Air-Frying, frying and oven-frying – Kikkoman® Panko Bread Crumbs are great for coating foods like chicken tenders and nuggets, baked or fried fish, pork, crab cakes, onion rings, and tofu.
  • Topping – Sprinkle Panko over casseroles, mac and cheese, gratins, roasted vegetables, crisps, and crumbles before baking for a topping that bakes up, light, crispy, and golden-brown.
  • Garnish – Sprinkle on vegetables, pastas and salads—right from the box or lightly toasted in a skillet with olive oil or butter (and, if you like, ingredients like garlic, herbs, lemon zest and Pamesan)— to add crunchy texture and flavor.
  • Binder—Use as a binder in meatballs, meatloaf, and veggie burgers to for a lighter texture than you’d get from ordinary bread crumbs.
  • Crusts—Blend with butter and press into a pie pan or baking dish to make an easy pre-baked crust for quiches and tarts.
